Outside the ruined capital, Cho Min Ho and his men were just as bewildered. The Korean showed no obvious symptoms yet, but unlike the simple-minded Gerulf or Kaelum, he was exactly the sort of viper who schemed, manipulated, and overanalyzed every little change. He layered plans upon plans, all to make sure nothing ever caught him off guard.
This time, though, Min Ho could feel that he'd been played. His billions of neurons were firing at full throttle, yet he still couldn't put his finger on what was wrong.
Ignoring his men's startled cries and complaints, he methodically tracked the progression of their symptoms, his expression grim. Repeatedly scanning them and his own body with his bracelet, he soon identified the problem.
'All our parameters are slowly dropping. Stats, mental strength… even our Aether Points,' he concluded darkly, his expression unreadable.
