I gently rubbed her shoulders, searching for the right words to comfort her. She remained silent, but whatever that woman was trying to accomplish, it was clearly working. With every passing moment, my resolve weakened, and I found myself struggling to think clearly.
"We are all sinners in the face of Christ," I said.
"I know… but I tried seducing you."
"What if I wanted to be seduced?" I said, giving in for I knew that, sometimes, the best way to overcome temptation is to give in.
On hearing my words, she instantly stopped crying. She stared at me, surprised written all over her face.
"Really?"
Words were once again stocked in my throat, so I nodded.
"Who won't want to be seduced by a goddess like you?"
