Nell's knees quiver as the beads of sweat roll down on the back of her neck. Her stomach churns when Eli places his hand on her waist. She blinks her eyes again and again, trying to make sure that she is seeing it right. Baek Joon Woo's arms and legs are torn away as his blood trails toward her.
She can't look away. Her former lover who was also her friend, and the father of her unborn child has his eyes on her. Instead of blame, there is fear in his eyes. He opens his mouth slowly, and tries to say something; however, no voice comes out. The tongue is gone. But she can understand.
'Run.'
Baek Joon Woo is thinking about her, although he's suffering.
'Run. Run. Run.' He chokes, 'Run please, Nell. Save Nabi.'
Save the child who isn't real. Nabi is real to him. He is dying, but she can't tell the truth to him. Nabi is not their child. Their child died long ago. None of this is real except for the fact that he is dying, and Eli is the one who killed him.
