Damien's POV
I stopped when I thought that we are already far away.
I put her down. And when I saw her messy hair and frightened eyes. I can't help but laugh.
"Stop laughing! It's your fault my hair is messy right now! " She said agitated. When she noticed that I won't stop laughing she punch me in the chest many times. I don't really feel the pain.
"Alright, alright I'll stop. " I said. I really did stop laughing, because I noticed that she wants to kick my friend down there.
"humph!! " She looks so cute while she's pouting.
"ehem, by the way what's your name? " I asked. I really wanna know.
"Oh, I'm Dahlia Evergreen. And you?" What a lovely name.
"Damien" I replied shortly. I turned my back and walk away from her.
"HEY WAIT! " She shouted. I stop in my tracks. Then she ran towards me.
"Hey little girl, I suggest you go home. It's not safe here" I told her.
"Why? But your here" She said. And those round eyes stared at me.
"Heh, you don't even know me" I smirked.
"I know you. You are Damien. " How naive.
"How naive of you. You just can't trust a stranger just because you know their name" I'm right. You must not trust someone easily. Because in the end you'll only get hurt in the end.
"But, but" she tried to reason out with me. "Fine! " she then walk away.
"STOP! " I stopped her. Because her direction was wrong. That direction will lead her to our palace.
"Oh? Why stopping me? " She said while raising her one eyebrow.
"Where do you live? " I asked so I can just bring her there, fast.
"Well, I don't know you. " she sarcastically said.
"Fine! If you wanna die, then so be it. " I scared her. And it worked, I saw her body shake with fear. "Are you still a virgin? " I asked.
Her face turned red in an instant."So what if I am?" gee, that's bad.
"You! " I pointed at her. "You stay here with me. We will leave in sunrise." I told her. Because if I send her home. May be my clan will smell her blood. She might got killed.
"WHY?!? You told me awhile ago that it's dangerous here?! " She exclaimed.
"Well yeah, it's dangerous here. But it's more dangerous if you go home right now. Especially now. " I explained.
"You are so very weird." she frown. I'm always weird. That's why some of the elders in my clan are so dissapointed in me.
She yawn. "Where can I sleep? I'm sleepy and tired" She said with sleepy eyes.
I sat down, "sleep in my lap" I told her while tapping my lap.
"What about you? " She asked. She sat next to me.
"I can't sleep. Now, sleep and I'll guard." After saying my piece. She then lay on my lap and closed her eyes to sleep.
