One of the Song captains moved.
"Attack!!" the captain roared as he charged forward with his squad close behind him.
Xiao Fang slowly lowered his sword to his side. Letting the blade sink into the ground before jumping back to dodge the first strike.
The captain's first strike tore through the space where Xiao Fang had been standing moments earlier, splitting the street apart in an explosion of stone and debris.
"Wait!" the commander shouted suddenly.
But before he could stop them, the captain and his entire squad had already surrounded Xiao Fang, attacks erupting toward him from every angle, all at once.
Blades, spears, throwing knives, and palm strikes. The coordination was nearly perfect. Yet Xiao Fang could still see through all of it.
In the next moment, he moved.
