"You can pay right here at the counter." The receptionist stated.
Yu Qi initially reached into her bag for her credit card. However, after giving it a quick second thought, she realised that a card transaction would leave a digital paper trail, potentially exposing her visit to the Shenxie Research Centre later on. She quickly changed her mind and pulled out cash instead to settle the bill.
The receptionist took the money, processed the registration, and handed over four colour-coded wristbands to Yu Qi.
"Please make sure everyone wears these bracelets at all times during your stay inside the Shenxie Research Centre. Try not to lose them, but if someone accidentally drops one, please inform your tour guide immediately. Also, one more important reminder. Please keep a close eye on your children throughout the visit. We certainly would not want them wandering off into any restricted research zones." The receptionist cautioned warmly.
