The Dokkaebi’s Stream
Everything happens for a reason, and every event has a witness.
Nature, even in a system-governed world, is rarely kind to the innocent.
Our subject today, a newborn Dokkaebi, has just entered a world that faced total Calamity only a decade ago.
Its survival depends entirely on a (Caregiver Program) a digital system acting as a surrogate parent.
Its current behavior is primitive: it cries, it floats aimlessly, and it fears its own status window.
But do not be deceived by the "Mee."
This creature is a Storyteller. In the wild, a storyteller does not hunt with teeth; it hunts for a Protagonist. Even now, in the shadowed corridors of a nearby mansion, a high-value human target is being neutralized by a masked intruder.
The Dokkaebi doesn't know it yet, but its instincts are already vibrating.
It is looking for a lead actor for its first stream.
In three months, the curtain rises on the Main Storyline.
The snowball is beginning to roll, and by the time it reaches the city gates, it will be an avalanche.
