King of the Kings

Glitchsquid
He has no Vein. No faction. No name worth knowing. In a world reshaped by the Convergence - where reality fractured into layers, monsters pour from dimensional Fractures, and the seven Kings anchor civilization against collapse - Noel Kern is a nobody. A Spark-level escort taking contracts no one else wants, hiding what he is, and making sure nobody looks closely enough to find out. What he is: something the world doesn't have a category for. When a Fracture swallows his team and leaves him alone against a creature that shouldn't exist, Noel's carefully maintained invisibility ends. And on the wall outside - in chalk that has been dry for hours: "We've been watching you for longer than you've been watching yourself." Seven Kings hold the world together. Nine ancient structures older than civilization enforce a ceiling nobody is supposed to reach. Something in the deepest layer of reality has been waiting three centuries for a specific person to arrive. Noel doesn't know he's that person yet. He's starting to suspect.
