He is a severe-featured man with a scar that traces from his left eyebrow to his jaw, and a heavy broad-bladed sword he only draws when he intends to finish things. He joined Joyboi with a simple transaction: help with the voyage in exchange for access to the man who destroyed his village. He speaks rarely. He acts decisively. Phil Zenisha — The Voice Between the Screams A young woman with fire-red hair and almond eyes, she appears younger than she is and is deadlier than she appears. Phil Zenisha is a brilliant inventor and an unrivalled reader of maps — she built a small seaworthy vessel from the wreckage of three broken ships using only her hands and her mind. She possesses a peculiar ability: she hears islands. Every island has a song, she says, and the one who knows the song finds the way. She joined the crew after Joyboi pulled her from slave traders in Smoke Harbour. The Lost — The Greatest Treasure It is not a chest of gold. It is not a rare jewel. The Lost is a mythic weapon, said to grant its bearer dominion over all the seas — every current, every storm, every submerged island beneath the waves. An ancient civilisation that vanished from every map a thousand years ago concealed it and scattered three keys across three different islands. Collect all three keys and you reach the Lost.
