Crown of the Desert

THE ARABIAN LANDS Crown of the Desert A Tale of War, Honour & Eternal Glory In the age when stars were still being named and the sands held kingdoms older than memory… CHAPTER I The Throne of Sand and Blood Beneath the indigo vault of an Arabian night, where constellations burned like scattered embers and the wind carried whispers older than time itself, the great city of Qasr Al-Dhahabiya rose from the desert like a golden mirage. Its minarets pierced the sky, its walls gleamed with torchlight, and at its heart sat a throne carved from the heartwood of a thousand-year cedar — the throne of King Zayed Al-Rashid. He was not a man born soft. His hands bore the calluses of a warrior prince, his eyes carried the weight of battles fought before his coronation. At thirty-five, he ruled not merely with decree but with presence — a presence so commanding that soldiers straightened and courtiers fell silent the moment his shadow crossed a doorway. "A king who has never bled for his people wears a crown of clay. Mine is forged in fire." Beside him on a throne of equal grandeur — an act of defiance against every tradition of the old court — sat Queen Layla Bint Khalid, daughter of the Northern Clans, chosen not for diplomacy alone but for the fierce intelligence that had won three tribal wars through negotiation before a single sword was drawn. Her raven hair was braided with threads of gold. Her gaze held the patience of the desert and the heat of its midday sun. They had ruled together for seven years, and in those seven years, the Arabian Lands had bloomed — trade flourished, academies opened, the old blood feuds between clans slowly dissolved like salt in warm water. But peace, as all who love it know too well, is the most fragile of kingdoms. CHAPTER II The Shadow from the East It was the Queen's hawk that brought the first warning — a message scroll tied to its talon, the seal of the Eastern warlord Malak Al-Zaman stamped in black wax. Layla read it twice, her expression giving nothing away, then passed it to Zayed without a word. The message was brief and brutal: Surrender the border provinces of Wadi Al-Nur, or face an army fifty-thousand strong — an army that had swallowed four kingdoms in as many years, leaving nothing behind but ash and silence. The war council met at midnight. Generals argued. Some counselled submission. Others demanded immediate attack. Zayed listened to all of them and then dismissed them, keeping only Layla. "Tell me what you see that they do not. She pointed to the map: He attacks in summer — always. He is afraid of winter campaigns. We must give him his war, but choose when it begins." They spent three days crafting a response that was neither surrender nor declaration — a masterwork of diplomatic misdirection that bought them sixty days of false peace. Sixty days to raise the desert cavalry, forge the siege weapons, and forge something far more valuable: alliances with the very clans Malak had threatened on his eastern flank. When the sixty days expired, it was not Malak's army that moved first. It was the golden banner of Qasr Al-Dhahabiya, riding at dawn across the sands, with King Zayed at the vanguard astride his white stallion Nahr, and Queen Layla directing the flanks from her war chariot, her battle commanders relaying signals with mirrored bronze shields.

Lord Of Beasts

Ethan Crowe walked out of prison after seven years with nothing to his name and nowhere to belong. The world he returned to was unrecognisable. Gates had torn open across the globe, monsters roamed beyond human control, and society now revolved around the Titled - people chosen by mysterious voices and granted supernatural powers that made them heroes, weapons, and rulers all at once. Ethan wasn’t one of them. Not at first. Lost, angry, and with no future worth chasing, Ethan was barely surviving when a voice finally spoke to him. "Your Title is… Lord Of Beasts." But something about his awakening was wrong. Instead of gaining power in the real world like every other Titled, Ethan awakened a System tied to the Tower Of Beasts - a brutal, game-like world he can only enter while asleep. Inside the Tower, Ethan must fight for survival against monstrous creatures, earning power through a system of skills, evolution, and beasts. As for the beasts he acquires there? They persist beyond his dreams... Registered as an E Rank Titled with only D Rank potential, Ethan should have been insignificant. Yet the Lord of Beasts cannot be measured by ordinary standards. As Ethan grows stronger at an impossible rate, his existence begins to ripple outward - drawing the attention of elite Titled, criminal syndicates, and forces lurking behind the Gates themselves. His past refuses to stay buried, his beasts grow more dangerous, and the truth behind his Title hints at something far more terrifying than anyone realises. In a world ruled by power, Ethan Crowe starts at the bottom. But as the Lord of Beasts, it’s only a matter of time before he climbs to the top! P.S.
