CHAPTERS WILL PUBLISH WEEKLY: EVERY MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY ________________________________________________________________ Man up? Are you man enough? How do you even be a man? As a man, you should… As a man, you shouldn’t… Jason, 25, is a prodigy—rich, successful, and admired by younger men eager to learn what it truly means to be a man. To him, being a man means riches, aggression, dominance, fearlessness, and being surrounded by women. He has built his identity according to the world’s rules, believing them to be his own, his will. But in truth, this isn’t the case. Then one day, Jason wakes up in a world that isn’t his own—he has become Gadeon, a ten-year-old, in a realm where magic, or Ma-QI, flows through, allowing individuals to perform supernatural martial arts. The rigid systems from his past life still exist here, reaching the young even earlier than before. In his past life, Jason had no father. In this new life, he does—but Gadeon experiences it differently. Seeing himself under another man’s roof, sharing a household, he feels a sting of submission, as if part of his identity is being ruled. Yet this other man forces him to confront questions he has long not understood well: What does it truly mean to be a man?
