When the world was drowning in the dead, Jeff, his wife, and their daughter stood on the edge of death with no hope left. Surrounded by blood and silence, they thought it was the end… until they arrived. Adrik, Draxil, Lyra, and Lior—travelers from the future, armed with weapons that glowed with power and fury. For the first time in that broken world, Jeff saw something he thought was lost forever. Hope.. small promo of the story -> One night… on a quiet, cold, and dark street. The road was filled with broken-down cars. Four figures stepped into view, stopping right in front of the camera. One guy bent down, grabbed an axe from the ground, and slammed it against the side of a car. The car screeched and groaned. The other three slowly turned to look at him. Then the camera revealed their faces—three boys and one girl. Lyra: What the—?? Why did you do that? Draxil: Ughhh… I thought it would make us look badass. Lior: Well… maybe ask before you do anything next time. Suddenly, one by one, hundreds of zombies rose from the broken cars—about a hundred of them. Adrik: Guys… I think it's time to really be badass. Let's beat their asses. Draxil: That's what I've been waiting for! Lyra: Tchh… idiots. Lior: Big sis… maybe I should stay behind you? Lyra: Yep. You always stay behind me. The zombies rushed at them. The fight began. As they battled, Adrik's voice spoke over the scene: Adrik (V.O.): This is my friend Lior. He's sixteen… young, kind, and a little scared, but brave too. He's kinda nerdy, making inventions that explode in front of me sometimes. The camera shows Lyra and Lior fighting side by side. Lior freezes zombies in place and forms glowing diamond shields with his staff. Adrik (V.O.): And this is Lior's sister, Lyra. She's twenty-one… extremely pretty, but be careful. If she gets angry, she can be terrifying. She's kind too… and someday, I'll marry her. Lyra's weapon was a triple-bladed chain with six deadly edges. She sliced zombies around her with precision, careful not to hurt her allies. Adrik (V.O.): This is my bestest, bestest friend, Draxil. He's twenty-two, same age as me. Looks scary, but… well, he's got no brain cells. I once sold him an ice cream for double the price. Don't get caught though, or you might not breathe again. Draxil fought with two enormous shining blades, moving so fast most zombies didn't even see him. Adrik (V.O.): And this… this is me. The all-mighty hero, the savior. I've got this glowing cyan sword and eyes that make me stronger. How did I get this power? Maybe that's a secret for later. You'll see… when it's your turn to enjoy it. Adrik's eyes glowed blue. With each punch, zombies flew through the air. He swung his sword, slicing them in half effortlessly. The four of them leapt together, screaming as they fell toward the horde, the full moon casting a silver glow behind them. Time seemed to slow. Adrik (V.O.): And this… this is my team. Four of us. See you soon.

The Last Step

- Disclaimer: Chapters are long and detailed. Slower pacing and character driven narrative. The Last Step is an epic fantasy spanning years of chapters, where history, ideology, science, and humanity collide in a world ruled by magic. Once, humanity stood at the bottom of existence. Magicless. Powerless. A race hunted to the brink of extinction. To the world, humans were little more than intelligent animals, fit to be enslaved, toyed with, or discarded. Their survival was never expected. Yet somewhere in forgotten history... someone changed that fate. Now, 7,000 years later, humanity stands beside the very races that once ruled over them, wielding magic that should have never been theirs. Few remember how that miracle came to be. Kaiser Everhart is one of them. Not as a chosen hero. Not with divine blessings. Not with overwhelming strength. Only with a mind that refuses to end his story. Born into a life that could only be described as hell, Kaiser Everhart grew up believing humanity was selfish, cruel, and undeserving of faith. All he ever wanted was a quiet life. A place where he could finally understand what happiness felt like. Instead, the world refused to leave him alone. Drawn into a continent where primordial beasts roam forgotten lands, where dragonics shape empires, elves preserve ancient civilizations, demons struggle against a curse of their own existence, beastkin, dwarves, and fairies each reign over fields humanity could never hope to rival, Kaiser finds himself standing among races that have mastered magic, divinity, and power over thousands of years. Yet the deeper his journey goes, the more one question begins to consume everything: Can humanity be saved... if humanity itself is its greatest enemy? This is not a story about becoming the strongest. It is a story about changing the world one impossible step at a time. Long before Kaiser Everhart was born, another man walked a remarkably similar path. One who devoted everything to humanity... Only to lose faith in it. As the past slowly awakens, two ideals begin moving toward an inevitable collision: The man who abandoned hope in humanity. And the man still searching for a reason to believe. Somewhere between them stands Kaiser Everhart, unaware that every step he takes is leading him toward the one person who understands him better than anyone else ever could. A slow-burning saga of politics, philosophy, science, war, romance, psychological manipulation, civilization-building, and the fragile hope that even the weakest race can create its own future. The road is long. The answers are earned. And every step matters. Discord: https://discord.gg/3tRarQqWJj

Card Apprentice Daily Log

Dalton Wyatt, a world-renowned scientist and inventor, is transmigrated into the body of a high school student, also named Dalton Wyatt, who had tragically committed suicide due to unfortunate circumstances and a complicated life. The enchanting world of cards he finds himself in is vastly different from Earth, yet eerily similar in certain aspects. Unlike the peaceful Earth, where humans fought only amongst themselves, this new world is plagued by dungeons and monsters. Here, humanity's survival hinges on battling these mythical and legendary creatures. Ordinary mortals lack the strength to stand against such formidable foes. Thankfully, a select few are blessed with the ability to harness their souls, manifest soul power, and become card apprentices—humanity’s last hope against extinction. Card apprentices are individuals who form contracts with grimoires, mystical artifacts that allow them to wield powerful and versatile cards to fend off monsters and conquer dungeons. A grimoire provides card apprentices with abilities such as card creation and card fusion. Most importantly, it enables them to unlock their full potential in card battles. While this world shares the concept of science with Earth, its focus is not on electronics or industrialization. Instead, cards replace the need for most technologies, fulfilling even the smallest of daily necessities. This world revolves entirely around the grimoire’s abilities, particularly card creation and card fusion. Transmigrated to a place where strength can be bought with money, Dr. Wyatt is forced to earn a living to ensure his survival. Fortunately, with his otherworldly knowledge and expertise, card creation comes naturally to him, setting him apart from other card apprentices. Dr. Wyatt crafts and sells perfect, powerful, and resourceful cards, steadily growing stronger in this monster-ridden world. --- "What did you say? Making good cards is hard? Bah! Card creation is a breeze." "My friend, let me enlighten you—there are no 'trash card ingredients,' only incompetent card creationists." [Commencing card creation using ingredients, i)Bloody Veins - G Rank, Mortal Grade ii)Nyon Rope - G Rank, Mortal Grade iii)Common Core - G Rank, Mortal Grade Card creation… complete!
