Aetherion: Rise of the Forgotten Mage

KaiRaven
A century ago, the world of Aetherion changed forever when ten mysterious Towers appeared across the world without warning. Soon after, monsters began pouring endlessly from the Towers, destroying cities, kingdoms, and entire civilizations. Humanity stood on the edge of extinction until powerful mages united to create the first Mage Towers, organizations dedicated to fighting the growing threat. From the endless battles against monsters emerged legendary figures known as Mage Lords, mages whose power surpassed ordinary limits. Under the leadership of the mysterious Mage Queen, humanity managed to survive and reclaim parts of the world. But even after a hundred years, the Towers still stand, monsters still emerge, and most of the world remains uninhabitable. Now, only a fraction of Aetherion is safe. In this harsh world where magical talent determines status, a boy named Will Grey lives as a failure. A student of the prestigious Aetherion Arcane Academy, Will possesses a large mana pool but suffers from a defect that prevents him from properly casting magic. Mocked by nobles and looked down upon by society, he struggles to survive while barely earning Academy Points needed to graduate from the academy. But unknown to the world, Will Grey dies. At the same moment, a man from modern Earth named Saito Ren dies trying to save someone during an accident. Once a former soldier turned corporate slave, Ren spent his life dreaming of becoming a hero like those from the stories he loved as a child. Instead of disappearing after death, he awakens before mysterious god-like beings who offer him a second chance at life. Ren asks for powers similar to the legendary abilities from his favorite fictional heroes, but the gods warn him that such powers are too dangerous to grant completely. Instead, they give him a special System that allows him to gradually unlock abilities through missions, growth, and combat. Moments later, Ren awakens inside Will Grey’s body. Thrown into the dangerous world of Aetherion, Ren discovers that the powers granted to him do not follow the world’s normal laws of magic. Unlike ordinary mages who rely on wands and incantations, Ren gains access to an ancient hand-sign combat style known as Ninjutsu, a forgotten experimental magic system abandoned long ago because normal mages could never use it effectively. But Ren can. As he slowly unlocks powers such as the Sharingan and advanced Ninjutsu abilities, he begins walking a path unlike any mage before him. Meanwhile, the world itself hides deeper secrets. At the center of global power stands the massive Central Tower, a floating city where the five Mage Lords govern humanity’s strongest military force while the immortal being known as Baal remains sealed at the highest point of the Tower. Far away, the legendary Mage Queen continues maintaining the seal on the mysterious Gate connected to an ancient forgotten catastrophe. And hidden within Will Grey’s body lies a secret connection to that Gate itself. As Tower missions, academy politics, noble conflicts, racial tensions, and ancient conspiracies begin surrounding him, Ren must survive in a world where monsters evolve endlessly and humanity’s fragile peace could collapse at any moment. Because somewhere within the Towers, something is still waiting.

Wolf Princess Sold to the Dragon King

"Take me instead." Three words. Guinevere Lunaris trades herself and saves 300 lives. Tied. Gagged. Underestimated by a mile. They chain her to a tree in the snow. Mistake. While running for her life, she meets a stranger in the dark and tells him to hide so he isn’t killed. Twelve hours later, he walks into her father's hall wearing a crown. The man she just told to hide in a hole is Maddox Drakencrest, High King of Velkaris. Ruler of an entire continent. Maddox hears his dragon say ‘mate’ right away. But her wolf is silent. More and more Alpha Kings enter the hall. She catches the tail end of her father’s toast and chokes on her wine. "—leave here with a virgin bride." An auction for her hand turns into a full-out bidding war. Maddox wins. 750 million in gold, three dragon fleets, and an urn full of the bastard who chained her the day before. Every force in Velkaris is betting against a wolf on a dragon throne. The Elders say the queen must be a dragon rider, which is impossible for a woman without dragon blood. The king's half-brother agrees with them, but his solution is a civil war and taking the crown for himself. If his brother’s rebellion wins, Maddox dies and she belongs to him. If the elders win, she goes back to the father who sold her. Neither is happening. Her wolf calls Velkaris home. She's not giving it up. They expect Guinevere to behave like a good little wolf princess and play along with their political games. She says bet.

Blood Syllables on Silver Ashes

"Some lives are born from the frozen silence of a grave." Vespera is a bloody paradox walking through the snows of Alberta. The only legacy of a cursed night where a vampire's cold poison and a wolf’s feral rage knotted within a dead human womb. She is a hybrid baptized by her mother’s final breath; she is the one who survived by sucking life from death. As an unbranded Omega, there was no place for her—not even on the dustiest shelves of this brutal hierarchy. Yet, Vespera’s eyes were never on the arrogant thrones of vampires or the blood-stained leadership of wolves. Her only dream wasthe small, fragile family she built with a handful of outcasts. She was naive enough to believe she could flee from her destiny; but in the lands ruled by High Alpha Varg, every escape was merely a red carpet rolled out for the predator. When Varg—the High Alpha of cold iron and silver wrath—found her in the darkness of the prophecies and the silence of her unawakened wolf, what he offered was not a rescue. It was a sinister bargain that touched the most intimate agonies of her soul. The High Alpha’s voice was as cold as a blade’s edge, yet filled with a lethal promise: "When the rhythm of that heart, born from a dead womb, begins to beat only for my name... that is when you will survive the true hell within my own heart, Vespera. Do not just give me your submission... Give me those bloody syllables that have never been heard before." As silver ashes fall one by one from the sky, Vespera must make a choice: She will either vanish as a silent syllable in the claws of a monster, or she will turn herunawakened wolf into a nightmare that will stain all of Alberta in blood. "Those born of death can only be sealed in blood."
